OPINION IN RESPONSE TO RIVERHEAD LOCAL ARTICLE REGARDING SCOTT'S POINTE ADDING A FEW MORE ACTIVITIES:
Funny how these left wing liberals who complained for decades about getting Big Government out of our lives are now in the party of Big Government crying for more rules and regulations - This proves that these left wing lunatics are bi-polar and schizophrenic when engaged in politics - They are low IQ political hacks that really have no idea of what they are talking about - Eric has built a Great Destination Stop for All Families to Enjoy - Republicans, Democrats, Independents can all enjoy his masterpiece - To those of you who never built anything in your lives - you have no idea of the Hell the Riverhead Govt has put this man through with their ridiculous and over the top requirements that would have driven many Business owners away by now - This man as a private business owner knows that he must put forward top notch products and services that make people want to come back time after time to have and share memories with their families forever in order to remain in business.
To those who continue to badger and harass this Man - Shame on You! You want to know why nobody wants to do business in Riverhead - Just Look in the mirror and say it is me that is the problem with Riverhead - Sniveling and Bickering within your circle of non builders and complainers who want to say no to everything good and yes to solar farms, battery storage and data centers, wind turbines, Non-Profits, NGOs, and Government controlled parks and open spaces - Shame on You! All those things are not environmentally friendly matter of fact they are dangerous to our way of life and to our environment.
Riverhead has so much potential - yet the Small amount of Complainers have the loudest voices as they are the only ones who have the time during the week to show up at these town hearings - The Majority of the Hard Workers and Builders have no time to run to these hearings for this kind of non-sense because they need to work late hours in order to afford anything out east - LET THE MAN BUILD SOMETHING GREAT FOR RIVERHEAD - The Water is Clean, His Restaurant and Bar are immaculate, His Indoor Recreation Center is perfect for Kids and Adults, His Go-Kart track is perfect and everyone has fun there especially the kids. If enough of his customers are asking him to expand with Drifting and other activities then it his responsibility as an accommodating Business owner to give them what they want if he wants to maintain their patronage.
For those of you who have ZERO Business sense - A business must have the ability to evolve and to expand in order to keep up with the needs and wants of their customers in order to survive - A Good Business owner tries to Accommodate his customers by keeping it fresh and new so people dont get bored and stop going - His idea to put ZIP LINES in to give his customers a new experience is Brilliant and will attract many more customers throughout the year.
If you dont like these things - SIMPLY DONT GO - IT IS YOU RIGHT NOT TO GO but stop your pathetic antics which prevent the majority of fun-seekers from enjoying what this man has put forward - Government is supposed to protect the rights of Business Owners against those who want to hurt his business - they are no supposed to impede the progress of these business owners unless it is a Real and Verifiable threat to the entire public sphere. That is not the case here - Just because a few people dont want his business to succeed or they dont like the man's personality is no reason to stop this man from giving his customers what they want. If no-one wants what he is providing they wont buy it and i am sure he will end it and create something else that people want to pay for - THAT IS THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS OWNER - TRIAL AND ERROR IS THE WAY OF LIFE FOR A VISIONARY.
Imagine the Town imposes tons of restrictions and regulations which costs tremendous amounts of money to comply with then he builds it accordingly and finds out nobody is willing to pay to use it and he decides it is not worth it to have - but just lost tons of money trying to comply with something that turns out not to be a money maker over a period of time and want to try something else instead - Is that a fair process that forces him to pay lots of money every time he changes things up to meet the demands of his customers?
I say NO - it is not a fair process - Adapt and Evolve or Die
Government should not be the arbitrator every time you want to try something different based on your customers requests.
It's Bad enough that NY State is Anti-Business - Riverhead better wake up as 400,000 BUSINESSES have left NY for less restrictive States - Riverhead better start embracing those Business owners that are still here or they will lose them fast and your town will face an economic catastrophe like NYC is experiencing right now.
BUSINESS FRIENDLY - MEANS BUSINESS FRIENDLY!
If you dont like the man or his products and services dont visit but stop telling others not to visit and have fun there. He is not Hurting Anyone and he is not Hurting the Environment so leave him alone to do his life's work.
Funny how those who claim him to be a Bully are in fact the one's trying to Bully him - The Irony runs deep.
