Enjoyed being At the Table, hosted by JP Morgan Chase. Ran into some familiar faces which is always a treat, but met some amazing dynamic business leaders!

One in particular, Dr. Patricia McQueen, who is the author of The Impact of Slavery, It’s Effects on the Academic Achievement of Black Students Today, and not only that, she is a treasure to music and arts! I ordered her book and just received it today, so I’m definitely looking forward to learning from her perspective as an educator!

Women are less likely to receive bystander CPR than men. Let that sink in. But there is good news – we can change this. As a team member of Team Darling for the nomination, I learned Hands- Only CPR so that I can make my home and my community a safer place and be prepared to help if someone needs it. The person I’m most likely to save? Someone I already know and love.

The MAR.M Agency is proud to participate and uplift the American Heart Association's Woman of Impact as a part of Team Darling.

Heart disease is not just a man’s disease. It’s the No. 1 killer of women, yet many women are unaware. I'm proud to be a part of the Go Red for Women Woman of Impact campaign to help change this statistic.

On June 10, 2024, the American Heart Association celebrated its centennial, 100 years of saving and improving lives. For the past century, the American Heart Association, along with our volunteers, supporters and collaborating organizations, has worked to build longer, healthier lives for all.

Since 1924, cardiovascular deaths have been cut in half. But there is more work to be done. Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S. At least 6 in 10 U.S. adults (61%), are expected to have some type of cardiovascular disease within the next 30 years. But together, we can change that.
