Living Greenwich

Living Greenwich The best that Greenwich CT has to offer - business, recreation, dining, arts, business, MORE! Learn more about Greenwich. Support Local Businesses.

We’ll show you how! Owned and operated locally – Living Greenwich is a new type of digital community destination, dedicated to using the latest technology to explore (and reveal) exciting recreation, dining, arts and business options – PLUS the absolute BEST DEALS in and around Greenwich, Connecticut. We believe that supporting local businesses, our schools, and civic organizations strengthens our

community and leads to a healthy, vibrant and diverse neighborhood. In addition to exploring the most exciting recreation, dining, arts and business options in and around our city — Living Greenwich is also a group buying website that focuses on the Greenwich community and closely surrounding areas. Very soon – our website will begin featuring discounted deals (available for limited time-frames) from local merchants that you’ll be able to purchase directly on Living Greenwich. Why are we doing this? While we’ve always liked the concept of the group buying sites that are in the market — we also understand that these sites are national companies with no connection to the local community. We know we can do better – and that the businesses and consumers in Greenwich deserve better. Like you, we live, shop and spend in Greenwich. We know what makes this town tick. We understand the local economy. And when it comes to shopping, we firmly believe it’s important to keep it local – and keep the money circulating in our own community. Here at Living Greenwich, we have a passion about the level of quality available in our local restaurants, beauty parlors and spas, health and fitness establishments, recreational opportunities, service providers and businesses providing all of the myriad goods Greenwich citizens want and need. We’ve decided to make it our mission to help introduce local consumers to local businesses – while at the same time partnering with Greenwich schools, churches, charitable organizations, and local sports teams to get some money back to them and do our small part to help support all of which makes Greenwich one of the best places in the world to call home. We’re hoping you’ll join us in this mission.

If you’ve ever stood in front of a Sweet Lisa’s cake and genuinely wondered how something that beautiful could also taste that good, you now have a reason to ask the person behind it directly.

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, Greenwich Town Hall at 101 Field Point Road will host a public display of classic, antique, custom, and exotic cars from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The event is free for spectators.

This year carries some extra weight. The Greenwich Police Department marks its 130th year of service in 2026, and Chief of Police James Heavey put it plainly: “This year’s car show is especially meaningful as the Greenwich Police Department celebrates 130 years of service to the community. For more than a century, our officers have worked to protect and serve the residents of Greenwich with professionalism and dedication. The Scholarship Fund reflects our commitment to supporting the families of those officers, and the car show is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate that legacy, and help invest in the next generation.”

It rained all day. Nobody left.

That’s probably the most accurate summary of the 15th annual Greenwich Town Party, which sold out Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on May 23 despite weather that made rain gear the unofficial dress code.

Fifteen years in, the formula holds: one park, one day, the whole town, whatever the weather brings. CLICK BELOW TO SEE THE PHOTO GALLERY...

Binney Park in Old Greenwich has a way of making things look good. The pond, the shade, the lawns — it is a setting that tends to flatter whatever happens inside it. On Sunday, June 7, the Old Greenwich Merchants Association are putting that to use again with the semi-annual Art in the Park, running from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The rain date is June 14. CLICK BELOW TO LEARN MORE...

The event is free and open to the public. Local and emerging artists exhibit and sell original work directly — no galleries acting as intermediaries, no reproductions standing in for the real thing. The setup is an open-air show across the park, which means you can move through it at whatever pace suits you.

The range of work on display is genuinely broad. Paintings in oils, acrylics, and watercolors. Photography. Sculpture and wood carvings. Mixed media. Giclée prints. Drawings and decoupage. That variety, spread across Binney Park’s grounds, is what makes the event worth more than a casual pass-through — there is enough here to hold attention for the full afternoon if you let it.

The Greenwich Art Society has been holding its annual juried exhibition since 1912, which means this year’s show is the 109th. The space is filled with work that refuses to sit in one lane — oil portraits alongside mixed-media sculpture, abstract acrylic canvases next to meticulous ink drawings — and the cumulative effect is of a community with genuine range plus inspiring levels of creativity and artistic ability.

After nearly three straight days of rain, nobody was sure what the morning would bring. What it brought was people — lining Sound Beach Avenue with flags and folding chairs, kids in rain boots, families crowded onto front porches, and a community that had clearly decided the weather wasn't going to stop them from participating in the Old Greenwich Memorial Day Parade.
