My name is Jacob Mory (you can call me Jake), husband to my beautiful wife Lorie and father to our awesome little daughter Norah. I've enjoyed the art of photography for most of my life. I've been in the photography business for about 5 years mostly shooting events, family portraits, and weddings working closely with other photographers and from time to time by myself all through other companies.
I’ve been very fortunate to have those experiences and opportunities to grow. I have always been “big” on living life to the fullest. Life – is unique; it is beautiful, intriguing, and most definitely a gift. It is what we live but will never get to relive. This is one of the reasons I sparked an interest for photography. As a photographer one of the many things I find rewarding is being able to capture the moments that we can't relive physically but we'll be able to relive over and over again visually and with our hearts through amazing photos. This is why I believe that the saying “a picture can tell a 1,000 words” carries so much truth. I love and enjoy all types of photography. My main focus and passion is shooting weddings. It’s one of the best feelings in the world to capture and share in other people’s celebrations and experiences. If you’ll have me, you can rest assured your story will be told, you will remember that special day just as it was. So i know you’re probably really excited and there’s some nervous feelings going on which is completely expected. You have a vision and your dream is to see that perfected. This is where I come in to tell you that during our sessions we will always collaborate ideas (teamwork is key to a successful shoot), humor is definitely invited, genuine smiles and gestures are encouraged, “being in the moment” is a requirement, and always be ready for anything. I’m absolutely down to try something new if it’s suggested as well. One thing I do ask if you want to schedule me in your calendar – do so ahead of time within a decent time frame. We’ll discuss what that will look like because it will vary with each session.
