BRR BFF has today released her astonishing second album Big Heart. It’s an exploration of love in all its forms, expressed through fuzzy guitar interplay, nonlinear structures, rich synth textures and intimate lyrics. This is a very meaningful one for us because Nat is really the cornerstone of the community around Blossom Rot and we wouldn’t exist without her!!! So today you should go and listen to Big Heart from start to finish, feel the love that Nat has poured into it and let your own heart beat along.

ICYMI we put out a charity compilation every year on International Women’s Day, and this year proceeds are going to Desert Divas program - an initiative that provides support for emerging Indigenous women and girls in music through mentorships, industry connections and skills development.

We met the angels from Mega Fäuna many moons ago when they first formed, weaving together 5 distinct voices that covered you up like a blanket ✨

It’s been so beautiful to watch them hone in on their songcraft and shape shift into the band they are today, resulting in this exquisite collection of songs to soundtrack our days and midnights 🌙

The album is a musing “on femininity, the softness the secondness, the strength and the compelling force of it”

A band founded on a desire to encourage more women making music, it’s powerful to see Mega Fäuna come into their own on their debut record. Thank you Freyja, Tess, Lucy, Ellen and Lily for holding hands with us on this album, we’re so proud of you and love you so much

Announcing the debut album 𝓼𝓸𝓯𝓽𝓶𝓸𝓻𝓮 from our loves Mega Fäuna 🐍🌹

Following the release of their EP Fibonacci Sequins, these sparkling gems of the Sydney scene bring us a beautiful collection of songs into the ether; songs that reflect years of dedication to art and music and life and love. We’ve been so honoured to watch this band grow and morphe and crystallize into the butterfly band they are 🦋 We’re so proud of their songwriting, and their leap forward with this gorgeous album ~ textural, glimmering, intentional, fluid 🌀

We can’t wait to share it with you on 19 March.
