Emmy-nominated director and producer, Missy Whiteman has dedicated her career to helping young Native people tell their own stories through filmmaking. Whiteman’s Youth Media Training workshops immerse participants in technical skills, personal expression, and examples of media that reflect Native cultural identity and storytelling. On September 19, three films from a recent Youth Media Training will be screened at a to-be-determined venue in Fremont County.

Local Arapaho Charter basketball star Kenya Rhodes made an Italian Ice Soda to fundraise for an upcoming trip to play basketball in Spain at the Wednesday Riverton Farmers Market.

Rhodes and two others will play basketball with other basketball players from around the world in Valencia, Madrid, and Barcelona in late July.
