This is not the kind of post it may seem, but its one I've been needing to make as I have been avoiding dealing with this for some months now:
The Dungeon's story started years ago while I finished up some college and ran full bore ahead until I hit a brick wall a few years ago with health. Construction stopped and slugged on afterward without the steam I previously had. This led to much frustration and ultimately poisoned my ability to continue at a decent pace. Finances dried up for construction and part time work couldn't resolve the growing gap and the ultimate end of depression it caused spending more time pacing the work area stressed over all the unfinished pieces that I couldn't finish timely. This halted The Dungeon many times, but thats all behind.
The Dungeon's story is NOT over however, it is mearly changing chapters.
The current build out in the basement actually halted several months ago and we ended up deciding to sell the house to resolve estate hurdles when my mother-in-law passed earlier this year. We used the sale as a spring board, relocating ourselves due to family and concerns of my own health staying in the Salt Lake area. So The Dungeon's story in UTAH fully came to a close about a month ago.....
But its only the transition. Our "new" home needs minor work but it came with extra space: a large shed made of large gray bricks big enough for hold a mixing desk, a drum set (albeit in the same room..), and still some free space around. It will be smaller then what I started with but Ive already visualized what I'm working towards.
So now Im back to trying to save after moving and doing the footwork locally to determine codes, permit compliance, and construction plans before The Dungeon offically plants its feet.
It is unlikely this page will receive any further updates until the time I have locked in place all my start up needs and can declare the opening of Chapter 2.
