Looking for someplace to go to beat the heat? We recently visited Grand Caverns in Grottoes, Virginia, where the temperature underground is a constant 55 degrees and there's a municipal pool adjacent to the cave! Link to full video in comments

We couldn’t be happier to have won some awards, and especially the Emmy for our collaboration with Virginia Department of Education - VDOE on Virginia Roots, which was made to elevate mountain music in the arts curriculum for grades 6-12.

If you know someone who teachers P.E. or Driver Education, share this professional development playlist with them! It contains 7 videos from master teachers on topics that include preparing kids for behind the wheel experiences, incorporating adaptive PE principles, and working with paraprofessionals. It's a project we helped complete along with the VDOE and our friends at PBS Appalachia Virginia, and it'll be used in statewide seminars and workshops.

While our podcast tends to focus on instructional technology, we sometimes neglect the recognition of ourstanding Career and Technical educators.
