TODAY, TWO STORIES BECOME ONE. ❤️

Wedding days are pretty cool from where I get to stand.

I get a front-row seat to the nerves before everything starts.

The smiles when they finally see each other.

The people who traveled just to be in the room.

The first dance.

The songs that bring back memories.

And eventually, if I’ve done my job right, a dance floor full of people celebrating two people they love.

But underneath all the music, lights, pictures, food, and everything else that goes into a wedding day, something much bigger is happening.

Two people are choosing each other.

Not just for today.

Not just for the pictures.

But for all the regular Tuesdays that come afterward.

The good seasons.

The hard ones.

The disagreements.

The inside jokes nobody else understands.

The victories.

The disappointments.

The growing.

The changing.

And hopefully, a lifetime of continuing to choose one another through all of it.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of a lot of wedding days over the years, and I never want to forget what an honor that actually is.

For a few hours, people trust me with the soundtrack to a day they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

That’s a pretty awesome feeling.

So today, we celebrate another beginning.
