Warm here in Illinois but with the crops being cut. The deer are on the move and looking to feed up before the rut gets rolling! Food sources and transitional spots are on fire! Hoping to catch one of my target bucks tonight! Who’s all out putting some seat time in this weekend! Mondays cool down is going to turn things up!! ALOT!!! Let em fly!

Well!!!! This one has been under the wraps for awhile! But it’s time to announce the 2024’ tow rig! And what better day to do it then on my birthday! We have a lot of work to do and a ton of building to make this one happen! But we have partnered with some amazing companies to make this one come to fruition! Going to be not only my tow rig but also my house all season long as I take my journey back to fishing professionally! Lots of announcements and things coming soon! But here is the first mock-up of what we are going for! What do you think?

Most of us here on the BOW’d UP squad are just die-hard outdoorsmen who put our blood, sweat, and tears into our craft. First things first, is to put meat in the freezers and provide for our families! I know for me personally there has only been one deer in my 33 years I have actively pursued up until this point; it has always been more about taking the opportunity that presented itself and I have beaten on my craft to the point where I am able to set myself and others up to get more of those opportunities. My family recently purchased a farm in Kansas, and I have been blessed to harvest deer off of the property already this season! But knowing there has been zero pressure on and around this property, I knew if I waited, something special would happen. As I’m sitting in the hospital with my son yesterday, my phone buzzes, and this monster pops up. It continues to pop up throughout the day and night. I wake up this morning, and something in me tells me to get on the road to Kansas and focus on this buck. So here I am, driving the 8 hours that I drive multiple times a week for work. But this time I’m being a little selfish; this time I’m doing it for me; this time my mission is "Operation G2.” See you on the other side!

As the rut begins to kick in here in the midwest, we want to know, what is your favorite stand snack for those long day sits? BOW’d UP team member Courtland Williams loves his popcorn for those cheek tingling days in the stand! He says “ You still get the leaf rattling sound, but you’re eating a food that’s low calorie and fills you up a whole lot faster than those little Debbie’s!!” What’s your snack of choice in the stand?
