We’re getting closer to reaching our $750,000 goal to keep PBS programming right here on Blue Ridge PBS, and we couldn’t be more grateful! The outpouring of support has been incredible, with so many long-time viewers and first-time donors stepping up to show how much PBS means to our community.

Thanks to you, we’ve made amazing progress, but we’re not there just yet. We still need one final push to reach our goal and ensure PBS remains a vital part of our region.

Feeling that fall chill? We’ve got just the thing! 🍲

Straight from the Blue Ridge PBS archives, this episode of Cookin’ Cheap is all about food for a nippy day, and with temps dropping lately, it couldn’t be more perfect.

If you’ve never seen Cookin’ Cheap, you’re in for a treat. This beloved comedy cooking show ran from 1980 to 2002 and was hosted by the hilarious duo Laban Johnson and Larry Bly. They cooked real recipes in real time, no rehearsals, no retakes, so if they burned it or dropped it, you saw it. And laughed right along with them.

Warm up with a little nostalgia and a lot of laughs!
