That was a seat burner and a hard hit finish. Denny Hamlin survived a restart jump forward to the front only to have it dashed in an overtime pit stop flip. Hindsight on four tires humbled Hamlin who had it but strategy and luck failed the stop and Kyle Larson came up with the 2025 Trophy. The season was Hamlin's with wins and a dominant run at Phoenix just to have that rug yanked within 2 laps.

That was a run! Four tires verses Two and a drive from 10th to 2nd to the front on a double green-white-checkered finish at Phoenix - Corey Heim Racing is the NASCAR Craftsman Series 2025 Champion!

The crowds are coming in for race day at Martinsville Speedway - Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Championship is closing in!

One to go - NASCAR Cup Xfinity 500 today with William Byron on the pole to start at Martinsville Speedway. Last night Taylor Gray took his first Xfinity series win pushing "must win" playoff contenders off the bubble. The championship run is now set for Connor Zilisch, Carson Kvapil, Justin Allgaier and Jesse Love.

Three races in at Martinsville Speedway - Jeremy Fletcher won the Mazda MX5 race and Justin Bonsignore won the Whelen Modified closer on Thursday (Austin Beers won the series championship). Friday night the Craftsman Trucks checkered flag went to Corey Heim advancing to the "final 4" with Kaden Honeycutt, Ty Majeski and Tyler Ankrum. Two more races and championship contenders are on tap with the Xfinity and Cup races for Saturday and Sunday.
