🚨 Tragic Flash Flood Incident in Cleburne County 🚨

We have a heartbreaking update to share from this morning’s flooding in Cleburne County, Alabama. At approximately 9:30 AM, a vehicle was swept off County Road 41 near Trickem due to flash flooding.

⚠️ One person lost their life in this incident. Another individual was found alive, clinging to a tree, during search and rescue efforts. This is a devastating reminder of how dangerous floodwaters can be—even a seemingly passable roadway can become a deadly trap in a matter of seconds.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim’s family, the survivor, and the first responders who worked tirelessly in these treacherous conditions.

Cleburne County remains under a Flood Warning until 2 PM and a Flood Watch until Midnight. Do NOT attempt to drive through flooded roads. Turn Around, Don’t Drown.

📸 If you can safely do so, share your weather photos with us at pix.drdonwx.com to help keep the community informed. Your safety comes first.

Stay with Dr. Don’s Weather for continuous updates. We will keep you informed as this dangerous situation continues to unfold.
