Having Jesus in your life doesn't mean the storms will disappear. But it does mean you will not sink.
He isn't panicking, so you don't have to either.
Sometimes, He calms the storm. And other times, He calms His child while the storm still rages.
Either way, that is a miracle from God.
Without God, you suffer alone. With God, you can walk through suffering with hope—a hope that, as Scripture says, will never put you to shame. (See Romans 5:5)
Even the hardest days can be holy—not because they feel good, but because He is with us in the fire. (See Daniel 3)
Your hard days don't have to define you, but how you walk through them can absolutely shape you. Let them be an opportunity to draw closer to God and be built up by Him.
The Word of God reminds us:
""God says, ""Be quiet within Me, for I am your God, your only Redeemer. You must quiet your hearts at all times and live within Me; I am your rock, your buttress. Have no other mind, but rely on Me with your whole heart and I will certainly appear to you—I am your God!""""
