WRITING WREADING for 06.18.2026. 🔮 Yowza. Well, this is perhaps the most dichotomous two-card reading I’ve done for the writers yet. You may interpret for yourself or read what I gleaned below…

THE TOWER and AUTUMN MOON – Who among us doesn’t cringe when we draw the Tower card? “Catastrophe” and “loss” are, by definition, no fun. At least you know to save your work every time your finger crosses the “S” key! Whatever ends up going sideways today (if anything), know that it will all work out in the end. Whether because you put in effort to fix the issue or simply because other things flow swimmingly, your writing will ultimately come together in a fantastic way. The Autumn Moon celebrates your hard work, and the rewards are yours to reap. So, remember, there’s light at the end of every tunnel. Just breathe through it. Oh—and hit save. Again.

WRITING WREADING for 06.17.2026. 🔮 Today’s reading is full of warnings, but they’re the good, protective kind that help us prepare for and make sense of our work with the craft. You may interpret for yourself or read what I gleaned below…

NIGHT MARE (Jumper) – I used to dread this card during a time when it repeatedly showed up for me… until its repetition made it feel like an old friend. It is easy to allow anxiety and fear of the worst-case scenario to overwhelm you, especially when the stakes feel particularly high. But you can do (or write) anything; letting fear make choices for you can only result in less-than-optimal results because you are no longer holding the reins of your own life! Don’t let fear take over as your main character.

DARK SIDE – Through the lens of our jumper, I can only imagine something will challenge you as you write today. This could be something external that messes with your focus or a choice in your writing that requires your diligent attention. Either way, at least now you know it’s coming. Meet it head-on in recognition and readiness instead of permitting fear to take hold or, worse, respond for you.

THANK YOU FOR OPENING THE DOOR, BUT I’LL PASS – Whatever that aforementioned challenge is, it is very possible that it will come in the guise of something you thought you wanted or expected to face all along. This knowledge is not meant to keep you on your guard all day; instead, look at the situation with a critical eye when it arises. Don’t rush into a decision out of fear; take a moment to weigh the options and decide if this is still what you want or the path you ought to take. Trust your gut and act with the confidence you know you deserve to hold!

WRITING WREADING for 06.11.2026. 🔮 You know what they say: man plans, and the gods laugh. Maybe try to go with the flow today instead…? You may interpret for yourself or read what I gleaned below…

STANDING WITH POWER and THE LISTENING WATER – These two jumped from the deck while I was shuffling, and knowing I wanted to use two decks today, I took them for my pull instead of seeking another as I normally would (seemed like a lot of cards). Turns out, that was the message in itself!

These cards point to an inner monologue you may be having about the direction your story “should” go. No matter how many times you ask today, I have a feeling you know your plans aren’t what they need to be.

DEATH (Reversed) – Let go of whatever preconceived notions you have about your tale and allow its best form to take shape naturally. Stop clinging to your rigid outline and let the truth flow; you can’t force a square peg into a round hole, so why beat yourself up, trying?

Just remember: you already know what you need to do, even if the answers are a bit elusive today. Give it time and energy, and you’ll figure it out. YOU are the author-creator.
