The Prophet ﷺ said:

📦 ‎“The most loved actions to Allāh are the ones done regularly, even if they’re small.” [Bukhari Muslim]

‎Ibn Hajar said:

‎“Doing good deeds all the time, even if they’re small, is better than doing big things once in a while and then stopping.

What matters is staying consistent. Don’t keep stopping and starting—just stick to it. Like someone taking medicine: if you stop halfway, it won’t help, it might even make things worse.” ‎[Fath al-Bari by Ibn Hajar (11/299)]

🫘_"Nothing repels the extreme worldly hardships as does Tawheed, this is why the supplication for distress and anxiety is with Tawheed._

A distressed person does not make Dua with the supplication of Prophet Yunus, except that Allaah drives away his distress and anxiety with Tawheed.

There is nothing more gruesome for the distressed person except Shirk and there is nothing that can rescue you from it except Tawheed, it is the place of refuge for the creation, its shelter, its fortress and its means of [seeking] aid." [Al-Fawaid, (Page: 66)]

🎑 One of the Tabi'een once stepped forward to lead the people in prayer.

As he turned to the congregation to align the rows, he said:

"Straighten your rows."

Upon saying this, he fainted. When asked about the reason, he replied:

When I told them to straighten themselves, I reflected upon myself and asked:

'Have you ever truly remained steadfast with Allāh, even for the blink of an eye?' [Laţā'if al-Ma'arif, p. 18 by Ibn Rajab]

"إنَّ المؤمنَ تلقاهُ الزمانَ بعدَ الزمانِ بأمرٍ واحدٍ ووجهٍ واحدٍ، وإنَّ المنافقَ تلقاهُ مُتَلَوِّناً، يُشاكِلُ كلَّ قومٍ، ويَسْعَى مع كلِّ ريحٍ."
📉 “Verily the believer, you meet him time after time in the same state and with the same face

But the hypocrite, you find him ever-changing, resembling every group he sits with, and moving with every wind.” [Az-Zuhd by Hannād: 2/579]

Ayyūb as-Sakhtiyānī (رحمه الله) said:

‎حِلْمُ ساعةٍ يَدْفَعُ شَرَّ سَنَةٍ.
🪸_“Forbearance for one moment repels the evil of an entire year.” [Shuʿab al-Īmān: 11/14]_

Note: Forbearance refers to the act of patiently enduring or tolerating difficult circumstances, such as pain, provocation, or hardship, without losing one's temper or composure. It can also imply restraint or self-control, especially in situations where one might feel justified in reacting impulsively or aggressively.

📚✒️ON GIVING THE HEART FREEDOM OF THIS DUNYA

🩶_"As for the soul: every time it is given expanse (ie: freedom to do as it desires), the heart becomes constricted, until it becomes a constricted and wretched life."_

But every time the soul (ie: desires) is constricted, expanse is given to the heart, and it widens and becomes free. So a restricted life in the dunya requires taqwa, and its freedom will be given to it in al-barzakh (ie: the life of the grave) and Hereafter.

But giving freedom to the life of this dunya by following desires will lead to constriction and wretchedness in the al-barzakh and Hereafter." [Ibn al-Qayyim, al-Fawa id 1/168]

⛓️‍💥The nafs calls you toward ease, but the heart invites you to what is pure. Walk with the voice that elevates you.

{وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ}
"But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,"

{فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ}
"Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge." [79:40-41]

Ibn al-Qayyim said: “Everyone must punish his devil or else his devil will punish him.” [Bada’i’ut-Tafsir 5/450]
