We have made some updates to our editing bay which includes the mouse, , monitor. We are using the iPad for our scope with color grading and the old monitor is being used as the display monitor. We have seen a huge increase in speed while editing and much higher quality with our color grading results.

First day of our music video shoot!

I realized that sometime doing a reshoot is a good thing which is exactly what happened this weekend. We were able to reshoot a major scene that was our last shot back in September after an 11 hour day. We put more thought in to setting up the scene. I had a great chat with the director about my thoughts for the set up and angles. With his input we were to make this work. Also learned a new lesson, do not do a big workout before a shoot!!

I was lucky to be part of a film shoot this last weekend. Our crew was patient and amazing. Our Director/Writer was very willing to hear my ideas about how to do the shots and I feel that we really got some quality shots. I am looking forward to what is next. I enjoy working with independent filmmaker and love the new ideas that we can shoot to share with the world.

We had a great final shoot yesterday for the film that I have DP’ed for, Into The Spotlight. We had a 14 hour shoot to finish up the film and those last few hours were rough but got it done!

I was shooting a car show yesterday and came across this beauty. I have been doing a lot more photography lately, especially with shooting cars so expect a new Instagram just for those shots. The Porsche 358 is one of my favorite classics.
