Hey everyone! Let’s talk book parties! March is an amazing time to book a party: with Easter and spring break coming up and tax returns coming in, book parties are hopping (pun was actually NOT intended, but I’m keeping it)! And whoever books a party within the next 2 weeks will get a free Shine-A-Light book from my personal collection!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Call me cheesy, but Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays (the vanishing chocolate aspect definitely plays a big role)! I've had so much fun the past month choosing Valentines Day themed books for families. But there is so much more to February than this day - it's Black History month, there's Random Acts of Kindness Week, Pet Appreciation Day - and today is also Give A Book Day!!! I love how on any given day, there can be something to celebrate - and something to learn about! I hope your day is full of cozy books, cuddles, and yes - lots of chocolate

Oh my goodness, what a week! Midwife appointments, my stomach the size and weight of a watermelon, Baby Hyson is thoroughly obessed with poking behind my belly button, and heartburn so bad that throwing up is a regular part of my day - the third trimester is kicking my butt!
But I can't help but be over-the-moon in love with my Baby Hyson and am DYING to meet her. We've still been reading through Anne of Green Gables (our beautiful Usborne Illustrated Original, no less!!), although Riggs wanted to switch over to H.P. Lovecraft for a spell, so now she's getting her first exposure to sci-fi/suspense :-p
Even with the incredible library we've been building for her, I still want MORE books!! I'm super excited that my UBAM team is going to be throwing ME a baby book shower of my own! I wanted to share a bunch of books from my wishlist (which I STILL can't narrow down!) - tell me what you think!!
