If you had the chance to listen to this past Saturdays show which was the tribute to Dolly Parton, I would love to hear what you thought of it. I had very limited time to put it together. I actually had a full show already completed and sent in that I scrapped to make room for the Dolly tribute. I know it wasn't perfect, but I did try to put together something special with the limited time that I had.

This Saturday morning's program will be an all new edition (181 weeks and NO re-runs). I would love it if you'd be kind enough to tune in and listen.

We will talk about her music, her life and her achievements while playing all of her greatest hits along with many of her duets and collaborations. Her solo work will be mainly in chronological order starting with her first charted single "Dumb Blonde". (Duets and other collaborations will be mixed in throughout the show.)

So saddened by the news of Dolly's passing on Tuesday following a brief battle with cancer.

Good morning! Time to rise and shine and get that coffee brewing!

OK - Rise and SHINE might be a bit too much to ask this early on a Saturday morning. How about Rise, caffeinate, and hope for the best?

Well I can get your Saturday morning off on a positive note with three hours of the absolute best country hits from the 60's, 70's 80's, and more on Classic Country Weekend with Tom Tracy.

We'll get things underway by telling you about a country music legend who impressed Ernest Tubb so much that he not only hired him, he sent him packing as well (to chase a solo career).

I'll also tell you which country star waited 9 years from their very first charted single to finally crack the Top 10 - and then went on to score 18 #1 hits!

In hour 2 I have an interesting tidbit about Johnny Cash and his debut appearance on the grand Ole Opry, I'll tell you which Classic Country star has just released new music for the first time in over a decade, and we will take a moment to remember another country music legend who we said goodbye to six years ago this week.
