The Sentinel would like to feature our local servicemen, past and present, in an upcoming issue in honor of Veterans Day.
To be included deliver a photograph of the veteran, their name, rank, branch of service and the dates of their military service.
Include the name and telephone number of the person submitting the information. There is no cost. Photos can be black and white or color. If they are sent digitally they should be of the highest resolution possible.
Drop the information at our office, 118 E. Eighth St., between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and we can scan and return photos immediately. After hours, there is a drop slot in our east vestibule.

Deadline for submission is Thursday, November 6th.

Statewide tornado drill today at 10:15 - This is only a drill

On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, a statewide tornado drill will be issued at 10:15 AM EDT/9:15 AM CDT. We encourage all Hoosiers to participate to practice emergency preparedness in the event an actual tornado is spotted. 🌪️
