Good morning,
Hurricane Erin has weakened to a Category 3 storm as of this morning, with maximum sustained winds of 125 mph.

It is currently moving west-southwest and is expected to affect the Northeast later this week. Flood watches are in effect for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands due to heavy rainfall, which may lead to flooding and landslides. The storm's outer bands are bringing rain and gusty winds of 40 to 50 mph to these areas.

As Hurricane Erin continues its path, it is forecasted to generate large waves along the East Coast starting next week, potentially impacting areas from the Carolinas up through the Northeast.

Overnight guidance of Hurricane Lee continues to bring the storm into the Gulf of Maine. Coastal Communities from Cape Cod to Eastport Maine should make preparations like you would for a severe Nor'Easter.

Keep in mind this cone is for the center of the storm. Wind field extends out 185 miles from the center.

He was taking the trash out, and was never seen afterwards.

The State Police is looking for a missing teen, John Abrams, age 14, from Honeoye, last seen on Wednesday, January 4, at the Bloomfield Elementary School for a school event. John is described as 5'05", 140 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on his location is asked to call the New York State Police at 585-398-4100 or 911.

Keyona Rowe the daughter of Kimberly Rowe says her mother has been missing since December 30th.

She told Inside Yonkers -

"I’ve been to the police and contact her residence and no one has seen her I’ve contacted jails and hospitals the police sent me to wp and they sent me back because her last known location was in Yonkers at 4 Overlook Terrace."

Gun point robbery in the Bronx. NYPD pursued suspect vehicle short time later. Came up the Deegan to the Thruway. Foot pursuit off of the Thruway. 1 in custody at that time. Short time later 2nd foot pursuit on Bretton Ave. 2nd suspect in custody. 3rd suspect still outstanding. Search is breaking down.
