Jukebox musicals always remind me of the tremendous output of songs by the featured artist. A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, now playing at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre has audiences doing more than "ba-ba-ba-ing" during Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline." It reminds you why we love the man and his music. From his early hits for artists such as The Monkees, and Lulu; to the songs he wrote and recorded himself.

Shows like this also open up the live theatre experience for people who aren't regular theatre-goers, which is always a good thing.

Nick Fradiani, who plays young Neil is vocally a dead-ringer for Diamond.

For regular musical lovers, this cast features Robert Westenberg as old Neil. He appeared in original productions of INTO THE WOODS, THE SECRET GARDEN, and SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE.
