What does it mean to navigate a world not built for your body?

This July on POV: Uncharted Visions: Narratives of Disability—a powerful collection of films, explores how disabled people carve out love, belonging, and autonomy in systems designed to exclude them. From a blind, undocumented filmmaker reimagining accessible cinema…To NYC subway riders demanding justice…To magical realist portraits of chronic illness and heroic manga tales of care—these stories challenge ableism and celebrate creativity, interdependence, and the brilliance of moving through the world differently.

We look forward to joining our colleagues at GBH virtually tomorrow night!

More than 70 million adults in the U.S. live with a disability; some since birth, some developed over time, and some lives changed unexpectedly. On Thursday night, join a free event at GBH or virtually on how together we can build a stronger, more supportive and connected community. Nicole Agois, disability advocate and managing director of Open Door Arts, will moderate the conversation.

A link to RSVP and more information about the panelists are included in the comments.
