Just thought I'd provide you all with a little update. I know it's been a minute. So many crazy things are happening. Crazy good I should say so where do I start. First off, Big Daddy has retired and he is enjoying spending my 2 to 3 days a week with Walker with me. He's riding his bike 30 to 40 miles a day just being healthy. He's having fun and enjoying life. It's so great to have him home. We have such a good time together.🩷 We've been working on the yard, cutting back trees and bushes. Also, doing long past due projects around the house. You know what they say. Happy wife. Happy life . Lol We've enjoyed a couple of road trips and are planning a few more and a big vacation for next year. My sons are doing great. They landed their dream job and started a business, a mowing business and are very successful and profitable after 2 months. Walker still comes two days a week and every other week I have him for 3 days. He's a total joy and just the sweetest, cutest little boy ever. He's walking, talking and eating everything. He's a big eater. I have been finding more "me" time and doing things that I enjoy. If you're just now catching up I'm still handling most of the social media content for my girlfriend Michelle's page. If you'd like to go follow her page is Petals & Co. Hopefully in the near future we will be doing some live sales from her shop of giftware, wreath making supplies, home decor and pre-made swags and wreaths. We are in the process of building her a website right now to host all of her products that she has for sale. So anyone at any time can go online and purchase from her. I'll keep you guys updated on that when I have more information. She has a few local artist that sell items in her shop and asked me to make some larger bows to sell. I'm not doing a ton just a corner in the shop and that's perfect for me. I also, help out when she needs someone to help or cover the shop. It's quite enjoyable. Lastly, I have taken over the social media posting for my son's lawn mowing service. There's really not much there other than yards being mowed and things like that LOL. Anyway, that's keeping me very busy right now. As for when I might return to bow making.... I'd say maybe I can come back for some Christmas bow making. Today's funny. I order groceries online and Big Daddy picks them up after work. They always send a text when they are out of one or more of my items. Today....they have sent me several texts that they are out of my items. You can respond to have them replace that item with something else. After about the eighth time I wrote back....dang you guys are out of a lot of my items today, more than usual, did Martha Stuart raid the place. 🤣🤣🤣. No response. I guess they didn't like my joke. 😅🤣😅🤣. I thought it was hilarious. 😎😊

Hello cuties! Just a quick update from Big Daddy and I. We have been so busy with keeping up with yard work after all the storms we keep having. Thankfully Big Daddy is tall and isn't scared of ladders so he's been trimming the trees and bushes, just trying to get things cleaned up after the storms. I don't know if you know or not but last week Springfield, Illinois they had a tornado that went through there, the wind and rain was unbelievable. We actually live about 10 miles from Springfield. Thankfully no one was injured that we know of. However, it did rip off the roof of the APL which is a building that houses dogs and cats that need homes and again thankfully none of them were injured. I'm sure they were scared though. The community has rallied around them holding fundraisers and surrounding areas dog and cat shelters have reached out and taken in some of the animals for them. This community is truly a blessing. In other news, I still have Walker 2 days a week and we are totally enjoying being outside when we're able, he rides around in his little coop car, we play basketball, swing, smell the flowers and walk through my little garden. He also loves to sit out front and watch the big trucks go by and he waves to everybody. He is the sweetest little guy. There is no way to measure the love I have for him and our time together. The last two week I was invited to tag along with my girlfriend who owns a retail store. She was going shopping for wholesale items. Traveling with her is always fun. We used to do this years ago a lot but life gets in the way, now being retired I'm able to go again. We had so much fun seeing all the beautiful items at the wholesale companies and experiencing all the beautiful ribbons and florals, etc. Yes,,,,you know I did purchase a few rolls of ribbon, I mean who can resist right? Anyway, I hope you all are safe and well. Know that Big Daddy and I think of you and also pray for all of you! 🩷

Hi, just checking in.
I hope you are all well. It's been busy here, watching Walker and helping my friend at her flower shop. It's prom here so all the beautiful bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres are heading to the dance. So fun seeing all the flower choices. If I remember I'll share a few here tomorrow.
