Born November 1, 1963, Rick became a legend long before most people finish high school — joining Def Leppard at 15 and helping drive the band’s rise to MTV superstardom in the 80s.

After a life-changing accident in 1984, he amazed the world by relearning how to play drums with one arm, using a customized kit and unstoppable determination. His comeback led straight into the Hysteria era — one of the defining albums of the decade.

From “Pour Some Sugar on Me” to “Animal” and “Love Bites,” Rick’s thunderous beats remain part of the soundtrack of the 80s. Here’s to a true hero of rock and one of the kindest spirits in music. 🎶🔥

BREAKING NEWS: John Lodge the singer and bassist with the Moody Blues, has died aged 82.

In a statement, Lodge’s family confirmed his death, sharing, “It is with the deepest sadness that we have to announce that John Lodge, our darling husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and brother, has been suddenly and unexpectedly taken from us.”
