Hello All! My oh my, it has been a very long time since we last posted. Due to the increasing number of questions, PM's and the current climate of education, we've decided to try to re-start this page. Our mission has always been and will continue to be to educate and inform parents about homeschooling in the greater Rockford Region.

This happens more effectively the more people we have that are willing to walk alongside us and help out. If you are an EXPERIENCED homeschool parent that would like to volunteer/contribute on a regular basis please message me.

If you have questions about homeschooling please feel free to post and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Homeschooling is a great option, and with the right planning and support, a wonderful experience!

Hello everyone! I'm looking for someone that is heavily involved in the Homeschool community and would like to become a liason (of sorts). The Homeschool Heartbeat-Rockford is a baby project of mine and I'd like to find someone to turn it over to. Business commitments in the recent past and present make it difficult for me to keep it up. There is a real need for education and someone to fill the gap between local places like the Discovery Center, Midway and the local Board of Education and the homeschool community. In the paper last week...
