16 kennels…
16 kennels housed dogs here for many years before our current shelter opened.
Most of the dogs here never made it out alive.
Holiday weekends? The whole place was cleared out so they wouldn’t have to come back and feed and care for them.

A gas chamber was their fate or sometimes worse. Thank goodness for advocates in our county and in our state to ask for better.

Our county has come so far in the last 25 years. Now we are taking this space that was filled with death and making it a place OF LIFE. A place where feral cats and community animals can recover safely. A place that we can do low cost clinics at for spay and neuter. We have so many ferals in need of spay and neuter but no clean place for them to heal afterwards.

This is our chance to make this community better.
