Need a couple of books for the long weekend!! South Shore Bookmobile used bookstore has over 1000 popular titles for $5.00 or less. We will be open Thursday 11:00 to 4:00 and Friday and Saturday 10:00 to 3:00.

We have been visiting assisted living facilities and nursing homes, helping to fill their libraries. We have received a request we cannot fill at the moment. Activity Directors let us know that many of the residents enjoy browsing National Geographic magazines. We were informed that they are easier to hold and enjoyed for the pictures and bright colors. If anyone has any National Geographic magazines they could donate, we would greatly appreciate it. We will deliver them to the Activity Directors in the individual facilities.

We want to send out a huge thank you to Dolly's Boutique & Gift Shop!! Dolly is moving her business from an adorable brick and mortar to a fabulous online presence. Please visit her online store, you will not be disappointed. Dolly graciously donated hundreds of books to the South Shore Bookmobile! Included in the donation is a number of popular young adult titles which we desperately needed. We are so thankful to Dolly for her amazing generosity and a big thank you to Tiffanie Needham who introduced us to Dolly.

Today we started our journey to visit and contribute to all the Little Free Library locations in Rockland and surrounding towns. We replenished a few and took pictures of each one. Please let us know if you have a Little Free Library that is not on the app and we will be sure to visit. Tomorrow will be visiting more Rockland free libraries and will be venturing into Hanover.

Okay so I know I have said this before, but I am overwhelmed by the generosity of people. These books have all been donated this week! Thank you to everyone who has donated. I am beyond thankful! I am going to need a bigger boat😀

South Shore Bookmobile and Snowy Mountain Knitting will be closed for the July 4th weekend. We will be closed Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th. We will be open for Wednesday shopping night at The Wright Building until 8:00 pm and throughout the day Wednesday (10:30 am to 8:00 pm) Hope to see you!
