美京华人活动中心献血活动专访

不知道听众朋友们有没有关注过社区里公益献血的活动呢？其实马里兰州的美京華人活動中心(CCACC)每年两次都和美國紅十字會合作，来舉辦愛心捐血活動。今年已经是他们举办献血活动的第六年了。
献血活动是如何组织起来的？爱心人士捐献出的血液是怎么送到需要的人的手中的？社区中一些曾经很怕抽血的人，是怎么克服障碍，成为每年都来参加献血的人？今天，让我们走进美京华人中心，去探索献血活动中的动人故事。
美京华人活动中心六年来坚持举办献血活动，我们在现场看到年轻的义工，小的只有14岁；有一家三口一起来献血的，还有和朋友结伴来献血的热心人士。他们的付出看起来很平凡，但是却熠熠闪光。他们牺牲周末的时间，献出热血，用这样的方式来默默回报社会，让我们的世界有更多的爱与美好，就像美京华人活动中心常务副会长张丽芳女士和我们分享的感受：施比受有福。

周武屏醫生談從醫心得和泛亞義務門診的服務

馬里蘭州蓋城的美京華人活動中心已經成立三十多年了，其屬下的泛亞義務門診是一個非營利慈善醫療組織，專為蒙郡和附近地區沒有醫療保險的人士提供基礎醫療服務。那麼泛亞義務門診到底提供哪些基本醫療服務呢？沒有醫療保險的人，特別是初到美國、語言不通的新移民應該如何適應美國的醫療體係呢？短期來美探親的人們如何準備好自己的健康記錄以備不時之需？泛亞義務門診是如何從2003年一步一步的成長起來？今後的發展重點和方向是什麼呢？
6月26日下午，本台特別邀請汎亞門診的創辦人之一的周武屏醫生做客演播室，參與我們的《健康每一天》熱線節目，分享他和泛亞義務門診的故事，並為聽眾朋友解答這些問題。請聽節目錄音。
周武屏醫生是馬里蘭州內科執照醫師, 於1975年在National Defense Medical Center取得醫學學位，曾任香港明愛醫院的高級醫官，台北榮民總院的主治醫師，曾在Greater Baltimore Medical Center完成住院醫訓練，現在在自己開業的同時，也長期在汎亞義務門診部診治病患，有二十多年的內科臨床經驗。汎亞義務門診部的預約電話是240-393-5950。
