LET’S TALK ROCKWALL!!!  TAXES!!!
There is a HUGE bond proposal on the ballots this Nov. 5th and it’s a big one!
Prop A, B, C & D is 848 MILLION DOLLARS strait from our property taxes to revamp our local schools and stadiums.
This is a VATRE which stands for voter approval tax rate election That means YOU the Rockwall voter has to vote yes on this bond this Nov. 5th.
The influx of new residence from all over the country moving here has already sparked major mortgage and rent increases as well as construction of commercial and residential property all over Rockwall County.
My questions for you Rockwall are do you want a 17% increase in you property taxes for the future proofing of our kids education?
Could we find this money somewhere else? Like the tons of new businesses that want your Rockwall dollars?
Is it possible to do this in phases?
In the next 5 to 10 years, what will education even look like? Will we need to send kids to school at all?
