The Men's Garden Club of Wethersfield will hold its annual plant sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 10, in the Wethersfield own Hall parking lot, 515 Silas Deane Highway. The sale features heirloom and conventional flowers, shrubs and vegetables, including Webb Deane Stevens samples. Proceeds from the sale support multiple local garden and agricultural charities and maintenance of the Frank Weston Rose Garden next to the Town Hall.

The Rocky Hill Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 805 Old Main Street, presents a Comfort Food Dinner at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, January 25. Dine on meatloaf and mashed potatoes, ham, pineapple stuffing, mac and cheese, green beans, carrots, rolls, coffee, tea, soft drinks and assorted desserts. There will be musical entertainment by Ed Chiucarello and Keith Burns. Tickets are $15 for teenagers and adults, $7 for children ages 4-12 and admission is free for children under 4. Reservations are required call 860-529-4214.
