🌸 Some people lift the entire mood of a room just by stepping into it. That’s the kind of light Gloria Pullen brings to MTSU every single day.
As the first non-clinical winner of the PETALS Award at Nash, a housekeeper in Environmental Services, Gloria does so much more than clean—she connects. Whether she’s chatting with a patient, encouraging a team member, or helping out in a moment of need, Gloria is always in motion and always ready to serve. She's earned this award because she doesn’t wait to be asked; when she sees a patient who needs something, she’s quick to track down a nurse or CNA—often moving faster than the call light itself.
Her conversations with patients are heartfelt and genuine. You can hear her laughter and warmth echo down the hall, and patients regularly comment on how much they enjoy seeing her. She makes everyone feel cared for, simply by being herself. She is a beloved member of the MTSU family—and a shining example of what it means to care with both hands and heart.
💐 With deep appreciation and admiration, we are proud to honor Gloria Pullen with the PETALS Award. Thank you, Gloria, for everything you bring to our patients, our team, and our hearts!
