I'm going to say this again: MICROSOFT DOES NOT CALL CUSTOMERS!!! A friend of mine had his sister's computer sent to me because it would not boot up and the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) appeared. I was able to repair the hard drive and system, however, the hacker placed a password on the customer's computer that only the hacker knows. I can erase a User's password for XP, Vista and 7, but not this one. The recovery partition was damaged, and according to this website, the restore points and registry has been damaged on purpose by the hacker. NEVER let someone you don't know access your computer remotely. Yes, I do it, but prior communication, my reputation and trust had already been established. See the website explaining the scam and an actual screenshot from the computer I am working on below.
