Celebrating General Norman Johnson, born May 23, 1941. He went on to become the lead singer of The Chairmen of the Board and a songwriter whose hits include the million-selling "Give Me Just A Little More Time" and the Grammy-winning "Patches," recorded by Clarence Carter. Johnson was inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame as founding member of Chairmen of the Board in 1999.
