Yesterday we shared a behind-the-scenes look on YouTube of our team getting everything ready for this launch. Seeing these candles go from raw ingredients to hand-poured, carefully packaged, and finally loaded up for our local post office to make their way to your homes is something we’ll never take for granted.

Every candle is hand-poured by our small team right here in Appalachia. Every order that comes in helps us keep creating jobs in our little hometown, and that’s something we’ll never take for granted.

Some goodbyes are expected.

Some sneak up on you.

This week, we loaded up the sheep for the next chapter of their journey- a part of raising animals that never gets easier, but is part of the responsibility we signed up for.

At the same time, we’re realizing another chapter is changing too. Our oldest son is growing up, taking his truck and canoe, and heading out on adventures without Mom and Dad.

It’s funny how life has a way of reminding you that raising animals… and raising kids… both mean learning when it’s time to let go.
