We are very....very excited to present to you the (Very) First Edition of Jim Townsend's The Flower of Life, Book One for Solo Piano!!!!!!!!!!!
In the composer's own words:
"I would like to thank you for your interest in this work. I wrote it at a very interesting and highly spiritual time in my life. This work has very deep meaning to me, as it was one of the most interesting to write. I was in Shepherdstown, WV in 2018 and was working with and enjoying Drunvalo’s Earth/Sky/Heart Workshop. Something interesting was happening within me. I was seeing the world with different eyes, and appreciating the newness that seemed to be before me. There was an element of electricity and fog in the atmosphere and energy all around me. And as a result, this work came out to be rather different than works that preceded it. It had a different feeling, writing it and working on it. I felt I had to convey some of the things I was experiencing, and owe both Drunvalo and Marko a huge debt in the creation of this work. Thanks guys, I couldn't have done it without you.
I hope this work is somehow transformative in a positive way to the pianists who learn and perform it. And I am thankful to God, to the Christ, to my Family, and to all of my Friends for the support they gave in creating this work.
