Something to think about....

IF I personally don't know about your local event, business opening, sale, promotion or fundraiser then NO ONE ELSE DOES GUARANTEED!!!

By far I am the most connected person to all of you and if I don't know about your event going on, then I assure you others don't either.

RIGHT NOW......there are county fairs going on that I knew nothing about, festivals, music events, community gatherings and fundraisers too.

Why?

If you don't believe Radio works or that people don't listen to what I have to say, feel free to ask some of them by commenting below. The last 12 days I spent at the State Fair of West Virginia tell me otherwise! From 6 a.m. in the morning until 10 a.m I have the attention of thousands of listeners EACH DAY from almost Beckley, WV to Goshen, VA and from almost Summersville, WV to Fincastle, VA. That's a reach that NO ONE else has! So, why aren't you using it to your advantage?

If you want more people to know about and attend your local event, business opening, sale, promotion or fundraiser then message me at least two weeks prior to your event or even earlier. Don't wait til the day of or 3 days before as I won't be able to help you! You may even email me at:

An UPDATE from the City of Lewisburg on the sinkhole at the intersection of Court and Foster Streets....

Please be advised that due to soil, geological and multiple service utilities at the intersection of Foster and Court Street, construction has been paused until Tuesday morning. Safety, environmental, and operational constraints has led to the decision to suspend the work over the holiday weekend. This is to eliminate the possibility of any disruption of necessary utility services to customers. Streets will remain closed for traffic and public safety, and we ask for you to please continue to use alternate routes. Tuesday morning when the necessary equipment and supplies are readily available the project will move forward. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the best possible outcome for this situation.

Sending prayers for peace, comfort and understanding to our very own Bill Trifiro (from The Two Virginias Newsroom) and to his family who lost his dad, Tom Trifiro on Tuesday, August 26th after a battle with cancer. Please keep Bill and his family in your prayers. A memorial service for Tom will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 in Chelmsford, MA. Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements. Interment will be held privately.
