🚨 LOCATION CHANGE ALERT: Suffolk Legislature Committee Meetings 🚨
Due to power outages in Riverhead caused by this weekend’s storms, Suffolk County Legislature committee meetings scheduled for Monday, July 6, and Tuesday, July 7 have been relocated to the Rose Y. Caracappa Auditorium at the William Rogers Legislature Building in Hauppauge.
✅ Meetings on Wednesday and Thursday will remain at the Maxine S. Postal Auditorium in the Evans K. Griffing Building at the Riverhead County Center as originally scheduled.
The committee meetings will consider legislation related to public safety, environmental protection, water quality, farmland preservation, infrastructure improvements, agency funding, and appointments to county advisory boards ahead of the Legislature’s General Meeting on July 14.
📍 If you're planning to attend Monday or Tuesday's meetings, be sure to head to Hauppauge, not Riverhead.
