DJ SOLID GOLD Originally Named: Michael McCue Born Feb. 5th 1964 In The Bronx Where Hip-Hop Began. Then went on to study at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Solid Gold is an American DJ Born and Raised in the Bronx. He grew up on 167th Street and the Grand Concourse. Just up the hill from t

he World Famous DISCO FEVER Where all the young Hip-Hop Artist would meet. Solid Gold started his career in the back of his parents basement in the late 70's early 80's He started out doing House Parties which soon led to Block Parties. (He Has Performed at The Hand Ball Courts at the Old Yankee Stadium) Which then led to First Class Clubs Throughout The Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. He has performed with the likes of M.C. T la Rock (It's Yours), Doug E Fresh aka The Human Beat Box. Kool D just to name a few. He has even performed at private parties for George Brown (The Drummer) of Kool and the Gang. Solid Gold is also a Member of The Worlds Famous Supreme Team with such hits as "Hey DJ" and "Buffalo Girls" etc. Solid Gold continues to perform to this day Specializing in Old School, Hip-Hop, R&B and FreeStyle Music.
