📣A very important message to Residents of the Sicangu Village📣

Sicangu Village residents- RST Rural Water Systems would like to reassure our customers their water is safe to drink and use. The fb post yesterday asking residents to not use the water was unapproved by our department. We are aware of the water color Our recent bacteria samples were negative (good) at the village and five other locations where the same water source is used. Regular water use like washing, cooking, cleaning, drinking, etc. can be done as usual. The color is certainly unwanted but does not affect our water safety. SWA has been flushing mainlines diligently in the village to clear water mains. We expect the color to dissipate as broader coreline flushing is done between Mission and the Village. We expect most flushing to be completed by Wednesday July 30 4 PM.
