The Riverhawks get wins on the road at NWAC Crossover events on Thursday.

LONGVIEW, Wash. — The Umpqua Community College men’s basketball team is still undefeated. The Riverhawks jumped on the Whatcom Orcas early and won 92-65 on Day 1 of the NWAC Crossover tournament at Lower Columbia College on Thursday.

2 More days to go until Rudolph Run kicks off to bring joy to so many needy kids in Douglas County. Still time to go to one of the many Businesses, like Stacie Wools-State Farm Agent, and drop an unwrapped new toy for a child in need. We still have 2 days before Santa comes to pick up all the toys for families in need this holiday season, and this community has a lot of them this season. This looks so much better than a day ago, but I know this is about 1/2 the donations we normally get. I know everybody is tired, I am also, but children are the innocemt and If you can help, please pick an extra toy up and drop off unwrapped at our State Farm Agency 2621 NE Stephens.
Together I know we can make a difference!

🚨 This Saturday, December 13th – Join us for the Rudolph Run! 🦌🎄

Kickoff at 10:00 AM sharp at Cascade Community Credit Union (on Harvard) as a huge pack of motorcycles, police, and tow trucks roll out to collect unwrapped toys for kids in need!

Presented by Roseburg Towing LLC, the Rudolph Run is a big-hearted collaboration between our local radio stations, awesome Douglas County businesses, the motorcycling community, and Cascade Community Credit Union – all coming together to stuff the sleigh for the Children’s Division of the Oregon Department of Human Services.

There’s STILL TIME to help! Drop off a new, unwrapped toy at one of the many participating businesses around town (list below) before Saturday – our riders will swing by and pick them up during the run!

A massive THANK YOU to Bigfoot Beverages for keeping all the riders and volunteers hydrated and happy!

Bring an unwrapped toy (or ten!), come cheer on the bikes, or just stop by to spread some holiday magic. Every single toy makes a real difference in a local child’s Christmas.
