We’ve learned so much during our first year-and-a-half here at DKP, but one of the more important things we discovered is that ‘I Want To Go Where The Dogs Are’ has become a thoughtful gift for colleagues, friends and family members who have experienced, or who are experiencing, the heartbreaking loss of a pet. We’ve received feedback from many, including educators and even law enforcement officers, who received the book themselves, and then, in turn, purchased the book for someone else in their circle experiencing the same heartbreak.
‘I Want To Go Where The Dogs Are’ is a wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated book to help anyone through this loss. The book offers an enlightening and joy-filled vision of what’s next when your dog crosses the Rainbow Bridge, and it helps us know that they’ll be okay until we meet them again.
If you or someone you know is experiencing this loss, ‘I Want To Go Where The Dogs Are’ just might be the soothing comfort needed to help.

Today is National Make a Dog’s Day. Today all dog lovers are encouraged to go the extra mile for their pup(s). It’s also a day people are encouraged to adopt and offer a shelter dog a loving home. And let’s not forget the dogs that continue to live in our memories. Their paw prints will always be imprinted on our hearts, and this beautifully illustrated book is a heartwarming tribute to them. Today is National Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. Today is a day to remember the pet companions we’ve lost. The pain is real. But taking time to enjoy the memories of your pet is important, too. ‘I Want To Go Where The Dogs Are’ does just that. It’s wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated to help fill the empty space left when our favorite furry family member crosses the Rainbow Bridge. It’s a comforting reminder that the bond we share never fades, but grows stronger with time.com
