Having recently started doing work for athletic teams lately, was able to do a custom poster for a true Iowa State fan. I don’t know much about sports or why the Cycloes mascot is a cardinal and not a tornado but this was a fun piece to be asked to do! Here’s a bit of preliminary work in progress.

But of course it reminded me of this verse: Hebrews 12:1

I just swung by my friends new location for his - 2228 Carter Ave in St. Paul Mn! They’re getting the place set up and I’m excited to have them so close. Comics - this way!

Happy 250th Marine Corp birthday to all who are proud to claim the title of United States Marine. My wife is one and she’s all the more awesome for it.

I found a sketch from Easter and slapped some ink and color down.

(John 11:25-26) “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus made promises to us. If he simply died on the cross he would be lying about it all. The world is filled with dead religious leaders.
Only Jesus rose again and can give us life too. Forgiveness is what he bought for us so when he said ‘it is finished’ he meant the debt of our sin has been paid by HIM.

Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.
