I found a sketch from Easter and slapped some ink and color down.

(John 11:25-26) “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus made promises to us. If he simply died on the cross he would be lying about it all. The world is filled with dead religious leaders.
Only Jesus rose again and can give us life too. Forgiveness is what he bought for us so when he said ‘it is finished’ he meant the debt of our sin has been paid by HIM.

Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

With our church - River Valley- Crosstown and other campuses - we got to make a ton of food with Feed My Starving Children. It was awesome and we made enough to feed 95 kids for a year! Jesus calls us to serve others and so we do.

I was recently touring Quantico and the Marine Corp Museum and loved seeing a few F4U Corsair fighters hanging in the main lobby! This plane is one my favorites, so much so that I worked it into the story of my comic THE LOCAL HAUNT as an enigmatic Ghost Plane.

I recently toured Gettysburg, PA and found the memorial to the 1st Minnesota who charged into death to help preserve the union in a war that put an end to slavery in the US. It was sobering to see the battleground that was the turn of the tide of that war. Also makes me happy that the Biblical principle that all are created equal by our creator is a bedrock principle of our nation. We are imperfect to be sure but the ideal stands strong for us to strive for.
