Attention drivers: A DUI checkpoint will be set up in Roseville Friday, August 29th, 2025.

This is an effort to reduce the number of victims killed and injured in alcohol or drug related collisions, through public education and enforcement.

Driving under the influence is always preventable. To ensure you do not fall into the group of individuals who read this post, then go out and drink, and realize on Friday night they are not in a traffic jam but rather waiting to be caught and possibly arrested for DUI at our checkpoint. Follow these simple rules:

Step 1) Do not drink and drive (this one really will solve the problem)
Step 2) Designate someone to be your sober driver. (While some view this responsibility as lame on a Friday night....it will keep you safe and out of jail).
Step 3) Follow Step 1 and/or Step two.
