Thank you Rosman Family! Donating a yearbook to a senior or student in need who otherwise wouldn't be able to purchase one, is one of my favorite things about being a yearbook advisor. Yes, it's nice to win awards, get recognition, and build business minded students, but on distribution day, when you hand a senior or struggling underclassman a yearbook, and they respond with, "I wanted one, but didn't really have the money to spare." It's great to be able to say, "I know, but someone from our community or a business advertising in the back of this book wanted to make sure that you had this!" Their radiant level of thankfulness and appreciation is always immediately evident, and one of their last memories going into the summer is that someone loved them enough to give them a gift seeking nothing in return. It is a small act of kindness, but I guarantee every one of our 40+ donated books went into good, appreciative hands--and, you made a difference!
