I was thinking today, as I sewed a custom-order, egg-gathering apron for a sweet lady, how our lives are so different yet so similar. Similarly, each of us has wants, needs, and desires, and each has a special purpose which our Lord has bestowed upon us! Maybe your gift is singing in the choir, offering help to someone who is struggling, preparing a meal for someone who lives alone, teaching a skill, smiling when someone just needs a smile, CARING for another human being or animal, or gathering the eggs! We should consider what a blessing it is to be ABLE to serve our purpose (whatever it may be) and praise God for the talents He provides for us to do it!! God is good!
