Seasoned people come to the front… 📣 After all these years of doing the work…what if the thing you think you still need is actually the thing you already have?
I’ve been thinking about this A LOT lately.
After all the experience, the lessons, the relationships, the rooms, the results and all those receipts…
Somehow, we can still convince ourselves that we need to learn one more thing.
Make more content. Master another platform. Learn the latest TikTok dance. 😂 Keep finding new people.
And listen, I use AI. I embrace technology. There is tremendous power in knowing how to use these tools.
But I think some of us are walking right past the most valuable thing we’ve spent YEARS building.
TRUST.
Everybody is trying to become known.
You’ve already built relationships.
Everybody is trying to establish credibility.
You have receipts.
Everybody is trying to get access to the right rooms.
You’ve spent years earning access.
And in a world where technology can make almost anyone appear to be an expert, earned trust becomes even more valuable.
I’ve spent nearly three decades building brands, positioning leaders and turning ideas, stories, expertise and relationships into real opportunities. And lately, I’ve been studying this more intentionally, and testing it in real time.
What I’m seeing has been powerful.
Some of the biggest opportunities in my own career didn’t begin with thousands of new followers.
They began with:
One room.
One relationship.
One conversation.
And I’m becoming convinced that a lot of seasoned leaders are sitting on far more opportunity than they realize.
Maybe you’re not behind.
Maybe you don’t need to start over.
Maybe it’s time to make the work you’ve already done work for you.™
I’m going to unpack more of what I’ve been discovering over the next several days.
