Just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who made 2014 a fantastic year for Market Place Press and the Dixie Cragger's Atlas. The Southeast is definitely becoming a destination for climbers worldwide. I have always sold a large number of books to customers in other countries, but never before like this. In two weeks, I have shipped books to: England Scotland France Spain
The Netherlands Denmark Germany Argentina Lebanon Croatia
Canada Brazil Costa Rica and Portugal. Look for lots of rental cars and foreign tongues at the crags in the near future!

Being the patriotic sort, I have always been extremely proud of thre fact that the Dixie Cragger's Atlas guidebooks are printed in the USA, providing jobs for American workers. I think it's important, especially these days where the global economy has taken a huge toll on the domestic work force, with millions of Americans out of work or looking for jobs. Makes no sense to send work overseas in my opinion. Anyway, the new TN Dixie Cragger's Atlas books have been out for only two weeks, and have already almost sold through the first print run! Thanks for all the support out there!

Dixie Cragger's Atlas - Rock Climbing Guidebook

I would like to thank all of the first ascensionists, route developers and all the other climber's who contributed to the books, supplying new routes, photos, suggestions, corrections, additions etc. The Dixie Cragger's Atlas guidebooks would not be possible without input from the community of climbers in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. Thanks everyone for the kind words and emails that I receive daily. Once again, the latest Dixie Craggers Atlas guide for Alabama/Georgia has been a runaway seller! Already sold through the entire first print run. More on the way for Christmas. New Tennessee book in the works and it's gonna be great.
