Women Works Media Group

Women Works Media Group Women Works Media Group is an award winning media and communications company. Women Works Media Group, Inc. Congratulations!

We are known for producing inspiring publications, events and conferences that celebrate, promote and empower people in corporate, business and the legal community. (WWMG) (the parent company for Women Looking Ahead magazine) is an award-winning media and communications company, that is primarily known for producing awe-inspiring publications, events and conferences, that celebrate, promote and em

power women. Since 1990, our magazine, Women Looking Ahead, became the metro Atlanta area’s first high-quality publication to spotlight the successes and achievements of businesswomen. We have remained true to our commitment of empowering and promoting excellence, and commitment in women. By creating and presenting exceptional products and services, learning to value diversity, creating and nurturing positive relationships, and empowering and celebrating others, we’ve found our niche. We can honestly and humbly say, “Nobody does it better!” As we continued to grow, we introduced Women Looking Ahead’s counterpart, Men Looking Ahead, wherein we honor and celebrate the achievements of men in leadership positions in business and public service. Our signature events have featured some of the most renowned figures of our time. Keynote speakers have included actors Ruby Dee, Blair Underwood and Lynn Whitfield. Star Jones, the late author Bebe Moore Campbell, former editor of Essence magazine Susan Taylor and beauty editor Miki Taylor. Les Brown, Coreen Simpson, and Dr. Patricia Russell McCloud, are just a few. Like many corporation, we’ve seen more than our share of ups and downs. Yet, we survived when others were unable to find resuscitation. It’s been a journey, but a wonderful metamorphosis, nevertheless. We’ve operated with a mentality that reminded us that, “Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It’s courage that counts.” And so we’ve taken those moments of courage, learned from the lessons taught, counted them as part of life’s experiences, bundled them up, and placed them right here just for you. We are excited to introduce the 2014 100s List of Georgia’s Most Powerful and Influential Women. It’s a celebration for all that you do to inspire, empower, encourage and promote other women in the work place.
