Honda Rebel 1100 projects.
Still a way to go on this bike. All of the actual wrenching is done on the performance end. Not a ton of solid builds exist for the new 1100 platform yet - So I am excited to see what can squeeze out of it. These come de-tuned from the factory, So 8-10hp (+10% !!) is a pretty common pickup.
In the handling department we have a front fork brace to keep things a little tighter up front, and some good EDC brake pads around. Plans for better rear suspension in the near future - The US version is tuned for a 180lb rider and no passenger. Me + gear or a backpack is easily pushing 220-240 some days.
Other than performance, I'm slowly dialing in the aesthetics of this bike. I'd really like to chop the rear fender and move the license plate bracket too. I love how small this bike is for a full size 1100, I've already got it down to about 480lbs - Stripping it down more can only equal more fun!
Oh and yes - I did put the new battery in today. 😂🤣
